Thanks, and congrats man! :-D the man of steel series is awesome, all the face sculpt look phenomenal and the suit is perfectly textured. I wanted to get Jor-El and Zod too, but I will need to cough up some serious money if I m to collect them all, not to mention a new display case, lol

Me too, but i m not sure if they are going to revisit this movie again for a while. I really want to see a full armor version of jor-el.... :-(

Thanks, that minion is the one from the special edition Blu-ray of the first movie, I also got a few of the mcdonalds ones too, maybe I will post them up later, lol

So i finally got the New 52 Superman mini statue by Kotobukiya. I never got their artfx+ line before but i must say that this Superman looks even better than I expected, and its quality is definitely on par with the 1/6th scale ArtFX Iron Man Mk VII i got. Everything from that perfect body sculpting to that metallic finish on the paint job looks absolutely stunning on this small statue.

After a long wait, I finally manage to get my hands on this piece: the Bandai Super Robot Chogokin Genesic GaoGaiGar. I don't collect Japanese anime characters that often (oh who am i kidding, i collect quite a bit of them too, lol), but I must admit that the Japanese definitely do know how to design their giant mechas, and this version of the GaoGaiGar from the Brave series simply look too epic for me to pass.

so how do you like the 52 collection

Love it, the body sculpt is just absolutely perfect, then add that nice metallic paint job and I must say, that New 52 superman is definitely one of my favorites :)

cool stuff..i like the last dragon flame thing the best...
btw what kinda case do you have them in? looks like glass all the way around

lol, thanks, yea, that one does look hella cool, and its part die cast too, so its hefty as it should be, :)

I have them all in a Ikea Detolf, which is a 4 leveled full glass display case.

Thor - Thor: The Dark World Version
 

so I realize I haven't been here for a bit, I was quite busy and frankly I needed to save up, lol. But I am finally got a new toy, which is the new Thor from Thor: The Dark World.

I must admit I am really liking this figure a lot, and as much as I love my Avengers' version of him, This new Thor looks much more realistic and it really makes the Avengers' version much less impressive than it is when you put them side by side. Some people complained that Hot Toys started putting expression on their head sculpt, but honestly I don't see a big problem here, and the figure looks very natural and very VERY impressive in general.

Got this little guy a while back, also bought the War Machine from the same line, but I am probably just going to keep the Iron Man. But the paint job and detail on this little guy is absolutely amazing :-D

Did this just for fun, what do you guys think?

its been a while since i was last here, mostly because i haven't bought anything for a while, but i finally got the Mark 42 for myself, and its absolutely gorgeous!! :-D
