its weird that the game features a suit upgrade system yet the figures feature one design. I hated the suits in the third game.

Looking forward to this. Never even finished Dead Space 3 because of a distinct lack of horror and a general blandness, but I loved the designs of the insulated snowsuits.

I agree DS3 wasn't all that great but suitwise...This will make a great addition to my Aliens-Predators-Walking dead -world warZ Godzilla set....

Add in the titanfall figures and its gonna be awesome!!

Yeah, the first part of the game I just wasn't feeling it but by the time it got to the planet I was hooked. If your a fan of Lovecraft it's like playing a futuristic version of At the Mountains of Madness.
I do appreciate the retro 60's look they incorporated into the game and I really didn't mind the suit design either so I am very interested in seeing this figure.

I have a lot of strong opinions about Dead Space 3, like so many others. I think that DS1 is one of the greatest survival horror games of all time, and even though they changed things a bit in DS2, it is still my favorite game ever.

What worked about DS2 was that, even though it changed things up, more action made sense for the narrative, and there was still enough tenseness to keep you on your toes. The things that stood out to me most about it past the narrative were the suits. The Advanced Suit is easily my favorite gear from any game, ever. The Vintage suit was so retro and cool, and the Security suit was a great "generic" suit, with all its different color schemes.

Dead Space 3 failed on so many levels, and the suits were one of them. Don't get me wrong, I still liked many of the suits. I think the only one that really didn't work was the Archaeologist suit, and it was bland for the same reason all the other ones didn't just "pop" like the suits in 2 did: they were just the same suits but with a different helmet. Barely anything was truly distinct.

The narrative made sense, but the execution was so damned horrible. The characters were freaking horrible, despicable characters, and Isaac was just a wuss the entire time. I liked the story and thought the gameplay was some of the best of the series, but they ruined it with horrible characters and hackneyed scifi logic.

With all that rambling out of the way, I won't able to afford this figure, but that's alright. If I was going to hope they made any of these, it would be the EVA suit(the most "Dead Space" suit in the game imo), or the Elite suit, because NVG's are rad. Personally, I wish they'd just forget DS3 was ever made, and go back to DS1-2 and just make all the suits from that. Alas, that will probably never happen. At least NECA made a great couple of figures, even if I'll never afford the Engineering suit.
