Much better than it's regular cover for sure.

I guess sales of superior spiderman were not as great as Marvel made them out to be.

Sales had absolutly nothing to do with it, or everything depending on your point of view. The movie comes out this week and they need all the comics to match what is in the movies so all the little kiddies see the same character in the comics as the movies. Has been done since the X-men and Blade movies came out. The x-men all got black leather outfits in the comics when the first movie came out. Spidey got organic web shooters in the comics when the first Rami movie came out. Blade was made a half breed thanks to Morbius when the Blade movie came out. Bullseye went bald with a head target scar when Daredevil came out. Captain America- Steve Rogers, came back from the dead and Bucky stopped being Cap when the First Cap movie came out. And now Peter Parker is back to being Spidey in the Classic outfit just in time to match what is in the movie. AND Electro now looks more like the movie version too. Not to mention that there is now an Agent Coulson and a black Nick Fury (Jr. actually -Furys lost son) in the regular marvel universe. Marvel messes with the comics to suit the movies all the time because the movies make so much money compared to the comic sales.
