i plan on using The Marvel Universe AIM Agent body,it doesn't have the buttons but thats not really a big deal to mehttp://www.comicfigs.net/MU/MU08/AIM03.jpg

and i need help on the head of course,the sleeve on the glove(if thats a big deal to you guys)and i think i could use the 25th dusty for the belt.

what about for the gloves/hands, the ones from a MU Cap figure?

that would work but how would i cut off the hands from cap and switch them for the aim agents without messing up the articulation ,and i dont have a cap to spare

Change the arms at the elbow.

MU elbows fit each other if it's not a balled elbow, and they also fit DCIH figures too. You just have to pop the joint peg out, swap the arms then pop the peg back in.

Personally I bend the armos out without breaking the peg hole, then put the new arm on the same way and the peg tightens the bend so it doesn't show.

Works on Knees too. That's how I made my X-O Manowar using OMAC and Classic IM.

I used caps elbow and cobra commanders hands,i like his hands better than caps because they both hold guns.for the belt i would have to cut the belt from union jack and cut off the gun and knife holder,but should i really sacrifice him :(

i think after i get the head and belt its ready for painting

How do you swap at the elbow again? Get the peg out somehow and just swap?

Yup. You can bend the flaps back too, but be careful not to break it, even if the limbs the flaps of the cut are a little bent, the peg will hold them back in place so long as you didn't completely stretch it out trying to remove it.

Thats interesting. I'm sure you could heat and then freeze the joint to assure it retains it's shape

i put them in hot water and when they were soft like rubber i switched them

i still have no idea what to do about the head,any more ideas?

That helmut is pretty much spot on....

As far as the belt thing...this is part of the reason I don't build customs because I don't want to rebuy or change the figures I have.

You could always get another Union Jack/Cap if need be but....its up to you. Bucky Cap also uses that belt

:(:( i don't even know where to get that helmet :(:( and im trying to make a custom belt using the aim soldiers chest belt thing,GI Joe 25th dusty belt and 2pouchs from helix's belt

this may sound selfish but im gonna be really pissed if hasbro releases a star lord figure within this year

I kinda doubt it man. We pretty much know the 80% of this year's line up because of "fatty"

There's always a chance he's in wave 7 since thanos is in wave 6. If there's a wave 8, it's possible too.

Honestly not sure though, depends on the spacing between 6 and 7, but at this rate we might get 8 waves this year. I don't want to assume past 8 because the fall to winter waves are usually slow.

Though we could get lucky again, and the 2011 waves pick up pace again early like 2010's did.

Also, what about the iron grenadier for a helmet? You'd have to sand down the middle point to flush though.
