Captain America: Civil War
 

It seem this is to be the title of Captain America 3. So far the news has been interesting. It appears that the events will be based on the Marvel event "Civil War". Also it appears this will be Captain America v. Iron Man. But the most recent news has perhaps been the most interesting. An e-mail has surfaced between Sony, Marvel/Disney, and the Directors of Captain America 3. This e-mail indicates that the Directors want a certain Wall Crawling friendly neighborhood hero to appear in the movie. As many of us know Spiderman was the first hero to unmask in Civil War. The email does require a few changes in Spiderman. 1) Disney gets full casting say (namely the whole cast is gone). 2) Marvel gets story approval (5 spidey love stories are done). 3) Disney get 60% control of the Spiderman Universe with Sony getting the Directors for the next movies.

Please note all this news appeared in the hacked e-mail of Sony dated 1 month ago 11/13/2014. The actual emails included back and fourth from October and other emails that revealed things like insults fired at the President of the US to how much less Jennifer Lawrence was paid for the Hunger Games then her male costars

Ok it has been made official. Disney, Marvel, and Sony have made a deal and Spidey will appear in Disney's Marvel Universe likewise Captain America, Thor, Hulk, Iron Man, or one of Disneys other characters can and will appear in Sony's Marvel Universe.

Yup and as long as it's a "white Peter Parker" not being racist anything just saying...

I kinda hope this opens a Door to Agent Venom, Norman Osborn Iron Patriot, and Spider Woman as well as Hammer and Sword.

Ohh I forgot there is no certainty as to where Spider-Man will appear. It will happen at some point after Ant-Man (July 15, 2015) and Avengers: Infinity War (May 19, 2017) MCU has 4 movies scheduled in that time (The above titled, Thor 3: Raganrok, Guardians of The Galaxy 2, and An Unnamed). Civil War is the most likely as Spider-Man did take part in it.

Here's a bump in this. The cast for Cap 3, although I have to agree with the comments, this is almost more like Avengers 3 or something, just cause of the cast in it...But cool that Ant-Man is in it.

Also Martin Freeman (Bilbo Baggins) was cast in the Role of Everett K. Ross

Evelyn VanCamp (Agent 13/ Sharon Carter {Likely Peggy Carter's daughter or Granddaughter}) will reprise her role from Winter Solider.

Probably could've guessed who'd be siding with who anyway but if this art is legit we know who most of the major players on each team are now.

I am a little skeptical of the images namely because neither Spider-Man and Scarlet Witch are not shown.

Wouldn't doubt they're fake but it's also possible they're saving Spider-Man for a "BIG REVEAL" kind of thing. Besides if they're going by the comics then everyone knows what side he'll be on. I mean they've already said he'll fight Cap in the movie.

Honestly, I'm still slightly concerned. Winter Soldier seems like an entirely different beast compared to Civil War. I truly hope they found a way to make the schism between the heroes feel genuine and not just a way to have "heroes vs. heroes" shoehorned into the film.

I share your concern. The term "civil war" implies a large number of people on opposing sides in a conflict, suggesting something epic in cinematic scale, but thus far, the franchise has only given us about a dozen relevant characters who wear tights. Where will the rest come from?

I'm with Il Cattivo re: the Wildcat costume. Awesome. I wish Christian Bale's bat-suit looked much more like that.

I thought the Begins suit was fine I just don't see why it couldn't have been gray like the comics instead of black.

While that's true, I'm sure I'm not alone in saying that I was expecting a film about the search for Bucky as the sequel to Winter Soldier, but in this film they've already found him at the beginning. I feel like the last film lied to us in that regard...promising things that weren't going to happen. Maybe it's just me. I wasn't expecting Avengers 2.5 as a Captain America sequel.

If I had things my way, we'd have a proper Cap 3, and Civil War would be its own movie. I find it bizarre that they made it a Cap movie.

That being said, I am still excited for it and I think Black Panther looks awesome.

Agree with you there, and hoping this Civil War isn't just based around Bucky for his crimes that he's done...cause if it is, the action and witty banter will be saving this movie from the story I feel like.
