Neca 1989 Movie Batman in Bronze Age Blue & Grey

I saw a photoshopped picture of the Hot Toys 89 Batman in the Blue and Grey color scheme and I thought it would be fun to do a Custom using the 7 inch Neca Batman. First I took the figure apart and drybrushed his torso, arms and legs with a couple of shades of grey. Then I bought an inexpensive athletic shirt at Wal-Mart to cut up and use for the Cape. I picked out the shirt first because I thought it would be easier to match the paint to the material rather than have to seach for a shirt that macthed the shade of blue I used. I painted his eyes all white and did a light wash on the exposed part of his face. I completely repainted the Bat-Symbol on his chest and repainted the cowl, boots and gloves with a royal blue acrylic paint. I brushed on superglue around each joint to prevent the paint from rubbing off. This is a fun figure to customize and I think it looks great in the classic colors. Thanks!
