Classic 80s Horror Critters Figures
I liked the first two Critters movies for what they were, third and fourth not so much. Leonardo DiCaprio was in the third one though, it was his first big role in a movie.
I just checked out the page as I think these look awesome, but are they $25 for one critter?
I couldn't find any details of the actual number you would recieve from pre-ordering. I like these, but $25 for a $.25 sized critter seems way too steep plus the movie is not called critter, so you would litterally need more than one. |

25$... only if they can combine into one big ball.
It looks like they are indeed $25 each, plus shipping.
They're very cool, but too pricey for me. I also don't like that they're rubber. I'd like to see NECA do a plastic multi-pack. |

The only justification I can see to buy one is to set up a diorama with 1/12 scale figures. But at $25 apiece...

I'm still kinda tempted. They do look great.

Critters and Critters
Hey guys, I know $25 might sounds like a bit, but you have to remember these are all hand casted and hand painted. There are 3 people involved in this piece. Artist Zectron sculpted this figure, I am casting this figure in Resin (There are unpainted rubber ones available), and Joe Whiteford is painting all of these himself.
The average indie "homebrew" casted figure this size runs $10-$15 each (sometimes more), and a paint app like this would cost at least another $15-$20(again sometimes more). So $25 for a figure like this isn't out of the ordinary and actually this figure has been sold for a few years already ($12 unpainted in rubber), this is just a movie depicted paint app. It would be amazing if there was a factory released Critter figure that gave you the option to buy 10 for $10, or even 20 for $10. But that is not the case right here. Whoever buys one of ours, thank you! we appreciate it immensely! and to those who dont, we understand, hopefully you at least think its a cool figure. :) |
Thanks for stopping by and sharing the info. Best of luck with the sale. I wouldn't have reported on them if they didn't look so awesome. :)

First Gremlins, now Critters; surely the age of Hobgoblins toys is coming soon. Whatcha gonna do with those Hoooooobgoblins...
They look great but at $25 each I just can't find any way to fit them into my budget. If you were going to do a Critters cross over with your collection then you would want to turn a whole handful lose on GI Joe, the Transformers, or Spider Man.
Dont Forget... It's another $3 for shipping. I understand the hard work that goes into these but I was about to buy 1 but the extra shipping costs had me saying "nah never mind"
They look pretty sweet. I bought a different one a while back from a company in the UK. Came with a painted egg and little safety manual. :)
Extremely easy to buy 1 & recast it yourself. Casting 1-piece like this is stupid easy.
Cool looking but not for $25 each. Id rather put $25 towards one neca video game figure. But, they are, dare i say cute? Yeah, oddly cute.
Do not get me wrong if I had more expendable income I would grab several they are indeed "cute".Critters is one of two movies I watch on my birthday every year.
