Neca "Roy Burns" (aka the impostor Jason from Friday the 13th Part 5)
 

My custom Neca Roy Burns (the impostor Jason Voorhees from Friday the 13th Part 5: A New Beginning.

The figure is made up of a Michael Myers body and a Roy Burns retro head. The figure has a sculpted collar and neck to blend the head. The hands are painted red for a bloody effect.

The front packaging is Photoshopped to include Roy Burns' name and the movie poster for part 5. The back includes new text and a concept for a part 6 Jason.

Bringing us other versions of Jason is exactly what I've been wanting NECA to do with the Friday the 13th line for a while now. Instead, they've been focusing on the MEGO styled figures and infinite varieties of video game Jasons, which have been cool in their own right, but disappointing in the same vein. They gave us a version of Freddy from every one of his other films, why not Mr. Voorhees?

Neca has strongly hinted on their Twitter page that they're releasing new 7" Jasons this fall. I think they're doing a part 6 Jason from "Jason Lives" because they got such positive feedback for their Mego one they unveiled this past winter.

I don't like that from the looks of the previews the part 1 drowned-zombie-kid Jason will be a mego style figure. The first toy of the character ever for that look and it's lookin' to be a damn mego style.
