First pic of Mondo's 1/6 TMNT

Mondo has 'Aliens,' 'Ant-Man' at Comic-Con

Looks really good but at that scale, quality, and accessory count it's probably too pricey for me.

Joe Moore 07-01-2015 04:21 AM

It's gonna be soooo expensive. But damn that looks amazing.

MegaPrime33 07-01-2015 05:36 AM

It looks interesting but the picture is too small to get a better idea of it's quality.

Joe to the rescue! That's much better. Looks great. Would love to see it's size compared to other figures. This pic alone makes it look like a Classics figure with a better paint app.

Tony_Bacala 07-01-2015 07:50 AM

Yeah, when I first saw it I thought the 6/7/8 inch Classics Playmates line had moved to them with more paint apps. Which would have been friggin perfect actually.

This looks great too, but it's def gonna be out of budget here.

Ravenxl7 07-01-2015 08:07 AM

Looks like a really cool figure, but that size of a figure from Mondo? Probably going to cost more than I would want them to.

Dude I hope not. I'm thinking $100. There is no fabric and it's not really comparable to Hot Toys. Hope I can pick this up. He looks amazing! It's way better than the Playmates classics too. I like that he includes the cartoon style mask as well. Nice added touch.
I almost wish they did a B&W turtle instead if they're just gonna rerelease this one, but still very cool. Now if only we could get The Shredder!

I can't imagine they'll be that low priced. Just looking at their previous items, I can't imagine this being under $150, and more likely closer to $200. Compare this to the 6.5" unarticulated First Turtle, they did. That was already $65. I'd love for them to prove me wrong, because I want to own this. Hehe.

Joe Moore 07-01-2015 09:30 AM

UPDATE:
The USA Today story made it seem as if Leo would be on sale. He will NOT be on sale, and the figure is NOT an exclusive to the show. Mondo has posted an update. All four Turtles will be On Display Only. Leo will have over 25 points of articulation and will also include interchangeable hands.

Gregory 07-01-2015 09:46 AM

I'll be quite surprised if the turtles are less than $200 each.

evilekim 07-01-2015 09:57 AM

Damn! Thought I could buy this at the show. If these are $150-200 I'll pass on them. For Shredder I'd go $150, or just knowing he was gonna be produced I'd buy the Turtles. W/O any idea if other characters are coming, I couldn't just payout that much a piece. Playmates Classics and NECA both never released a Shredder. Just prototypes. I feel like I have enough Turtles at this point.

Gregory 07-01-2015 10:08 AM

If the turtles do well enough, Shredder, Casey and a Foot Soldier are to be the second wave, apparently.

Hey now! Hold up here, state your source;)
Dude if that's the case, I'd be so happy! Especially a Casey and a Shredder?! These will do better than good, as long as the price is right. $200+ would be ridiculous. I'm a HUGE TMNT fan but I wouldn't pay that much. Although, at this point I'd pay up for a Shredder or Casey.

Gregory 07-01-2015 10:51 AM

It was mentioned on the Expresso Beans forum, a place where Mondo's art is discussed at length.

Startaiger 07-01-2015 01:46 PM

WOW!! Now, that's some serious turtle!!
...and a possible Shredder to match sounds equaly awesome.

Cool! Hope it happens!

Confirmation of the second wave plans, too.

BBManik 07-02-2015 01:47 PM

If it was a smaller scale, I'd be all over this. Fantastic paint job & sculpt.
