Neca player select ryu hayabusa ninja gaiden
I recently bought a Neca player select ninja gaiden ryu figure. I have some concerns upon receiving my figure. I have a loose one for reference. I find it odd he came on a card back not a clam shell, the paint apps don't seem to quite match, the eyes are worlds apart on them both. Is there any way to tell if the one I got is a knock off/bootleg, I can't find much online please help

post a picture since just describing what it looks like that not help much. as far as the packaging, i think when they re-released them they had the card backs. kind of like when they re-released the resident evil they went to clam shells when they were originally boxes...

To my knowledge the only line NECA ever did/does cardback for is Predators. Everything else has either been clamshell or a box, so there's a chance the figure you have now is not legitimate. I'm not exactly an expert but if it's from NECA and isn't a Predator figure yet has a cardback that raises concerns.

Sounds like it may be a ko there bud. They, to my knowledge, never put ryu out on card just clamshell

Any signs to look for on the package or figure itself that could confirm its a bootleg? One thing I noticed was the date on the card said 2010
