Oh WOW! that is awesome. I WILL get that.

305Batman 09-04-2015 08:35 AM

Refresh my memory as to why the helmet is like that?

Zorn88 09-04-2015 08:35 AM

Haha no thanks.

Why are his eyes black?

Fail.

Augustus_Cole 09-04-2015 08:53 AM

Came in here like...ohhhh....lets see this...

exiting like....'REALLY'.....

I'll certainly be picking this Vader up when/if I see him, but I definitely won't be obsessively stalking Walgreens for him, like I did last year with their exclusive Boba Fett.

This is when he was lifting and throwing the Emperor to his death, lightning was getting all over him. It's kinda weird that the helmet is the only thing with lightning effect.

Is the helmet one solid non-removable head now? It sort of looks that way to me. I wish the original/main release didn't have the removable helmet feature, it's neat that it removes in pieces but when it's all assembled it is a little bloated in appearance. Not saying it's bad, I do definitely still like the black series Vader it just has a couple of obvious cons against its pros.

Or that time when he accidentally stuck his finger into the electrical outlet.

I agree, it is weird that only his helmet is clear. There's a disconnect. They should have painted his shoulder a little blue/purple or something.

Well, no need to keep hitting Walgreen like I did last year with the white Boba Fett.

Odd but interesting. I'll have to see it in person to decide whether or not to get it.

Skoob 09-04-2015 12:28 PM

Maybe other translucent body parts will be sold separately. Watch for individual arms and legs and a torso packaged as accessories with other figures as part of the new "Force Lightning Agony" special edition. :D

It's a cool idea. Opaque Vader is my favorite, but this looks interesting too.

Ok, we get it Hasbro. You hate collectors. Why not make some Ford dealer exclusive figures? Or maybe Tractor Supply?

Jester6873 11-23-2015 06:50 PM

Why does he still have both hands and his light saber?
At the point where he was be zapped by the Emperor, he'd been relieved of a right hand and his saber. Way to pay attention to detail, Hasbro.

I thought the figure was going to come with detachable hand. ANd I think every 3.75 inch version of Emperor's Wrath Vader has came with a detachable hand, but I could be wrong.

He will come with a detachable hand, and you just don't have to display him with the lightsaber :D

I'm super excited for this release, and I definitely plan on hitting up that head with some black paint. Boom. Instant vader.

Do you not have the regular Vader?

I can't even tell if it has a new helmet sculpt or if it's the same as the regular one. As I said above the original isn't bad it's just a bit bloated/chunky, the main problem is that until recently (on Amazon) the regular Vader was way overpriced by aftermarket sellers.

Also, the pose in the main image of him is very unflattering. You can get the black series Vader into some pretty nice poses, that isn't one of them.

Dreadnox 11-24-2015 08:52 PM

Got the figure tonight, has a different head sculpt or the helmet is bigger at least. Figure overall was pretty disappointing. Lot of quality control issues compared to the first one. I purchased two and both had same issues. I'll post my review tonight or in the morning.
