Man, I'd love NECA to make a RoboCain.

I don't imagine it would sell very well. Most people dislike anything that isn't the first and that'd be a lot of new tooling for a potential risk.

Make no mistake...Robocop 2 was a BAD movie...a completely mean spirited sequel with not even a portion of a soul when compared to the first, but I thought Cain was a decent enough villain, and the Robocop 2 design was pretty awesome. Despite the movie's faults, I'd buy the hell out of that thing if NECA was doing it, provided it's bigger than the ED-209 of course.

I'd even buy some of the movie's "failed" Robocop designs. That scene where the one rips his own head off, while the other shoots himself in the head after shooting the two scientists, makes me laugh every time I see it.

^^ What he said. Say what you want about Robocop 2 but RoboCain and the fight against him at the end was awesome.

And the failed replacement Robocop scene is priceless.

Totally dig the movie, and Cain's cyborg will make for much more interest than ED-209 (even though ED is pretty sweet) in the large 1/6 scale. Unfortunately in 1/6 scale, ED-209 isn't very exciting to look at, which makes the shelf room he consumes hard to justify.

Balls! I wanted Hot Toys to do a 1/6 Cain, but I am glad that we are still getting one though. Nothing beats the 1/6 milled aluminum version that "Candyman" did a few years ago though: RoboCain Build
