NECA Predators In Package

First Images Of NECA's Predators Toys

so i wonder if "predators" is supposed to be a kind of prequel/origin of the original? the classic predator wins the game hunt so he gets to go to earth, kinda deal.

if it been discussed sorry. i hadn't read it anywhere.

In interviews, Robert Rodriguez has said it's a prequel/reboot.

Hmmm, I've read that Rodriguez said that it's a continuation of the first two Predator movies, but disregards the AvP films. Either way, these toys are looking sweet!

It also looks like NECA is beginning to experiment more with their packaging. Pretty much all their stuff used to come in clamshells, then they started to use simple cards with bubbles. I don't think I've ever seen them use die-cut packaging, where they create a shape with the card instead of the traditional rectagular shape. I've always been a fan of NECA's product but always felt their packaging was very uninspired. Nice to see they are at least trying something new.

Wonder if these have full articulation, might bite if they do.

The front label says they have 20 points of articulation. Sounds better than their usual stuff.

I had put a preorder on a the classic predator before seeing any pics... now that I do I'm kinda of disappointed that he doesnt have his helmet

sabretoothe 06-29-2010 10:40 AM
