Amazing what a bottle of $.99 store shoe polish can do.
Saw an amazing tutorial on YouTube (CosplayChris) and knew I had to try it. Went and bought me a Superman and had a go of it.

I used a $.99 bottle of Black shoe polish and then after it was all finished I put a nice clear coat (Rust-Oleum Special Lacquer)
I didnt do anything to the hands or face like some do. I may do a wash of Brown later on but the features aren't that bad. Just a little on the pale side.

I like him much better now as it matches the movie suit a lot more.
The original color is more Reeve Superman.
