Can't this duck anywhere! :-/ Help?
2 Attachment(s)
I recently got this vintage duck toy in a lot of things from the 50's & 60's at an estate sale & I can't find it anywhere in my research! Aside from what you see in the photos, here's what I know about it: It is labeled RVT Made in Japan on the bottom. I believe this to be Rock Valley Toys, but I'm not certain. When the metal handle is squeezed, the tin beak opens, the wheels turn (causing the duck to move forward), & the toy makes a sort of quacking sound. It isn't a pull toy as the 'cord' comes out of the back of the neck & the operation requires no batteries. I believe that it's made of tin, but I'm not certain about that, either. I'm hoping that someone can help me to shed some light on this cute little duck! Thanks :-) Julie
