NECA 1989 Quarter Scale Batman Re-Released

It's a decent figure, but I dont care for the cape and headsculpt. They both look off to me.

IMHO, it's not a bad sculpt of Michael Keaton. Unfortunately, he always looked bad in the cowl. Those pucker lips were an extreme turnoff from day one. Nevertheless, some collectors are quite loyal to the Keaton / Tim Burton film and will probably look forward to this. |

Not sure how it is in the rest of the country, but the last 3 are still warming pegs like crazy at the 2 TRU's I go to. Between the 2 stores, there's 21 Batmen, 15 Supermen, and 11 Jokers.
If this is the case all over, I have doubts they'll even bother anymore going through the hassle of trying to get them out there. |
