Thats both creepy AND sexy.

snake5289 10-24-2016 03:54 PM

Yeah that would definitely cause some fearections.

Byrnes 10-24-2016 04:17 PM

I bet she has such pleasures to show us, hehe.

I know there are like 10 movies. I think I stopped after 5 or 6. Is she from a movie or did they just dream this up.

EvilMonkeyPope 10-24-2016 06:28 PM

I think this is made up for the statue.
She is really well built for a Cenobite.

Surprised Hollywood hasn't remade this horror series...I've actually never seen it.

New line actually DID do a straight to video reboot so they didnt lose the license. It bore nothing to the original in anyway and pinhead was not doug bradley. It was basically college age kids and a tremendously stupid plot and crappy acting. Theres been talk of barker going on an official reboot/origin but so far nothing has come across.

Watching it now is hard to do 30 years later. As a 13 year old seeing this movie in the theater in 1987 was amazing. It was such a fantastic flick for it's time. Most horror movies were Friday the 13th style or just a straight slasher film. This had real hellish/erie feel to it without the cutting and stabbing and quick shots. The Cenobites come on the screen and scare the crap out of you..................it was awesome.

Back in the early 90's ex-wife and I along with our 1 year old baby were going to try to head into Boston to a book signing Clive Barker was having. We ran late because of traffic and it was raining and cold as hell. We got there and as we pulled up he was getting into his limo to leave to airport. My ex asked if we could get a quick signature from somebody in his party. He poked his head inside the car next thing I know we are all invited into the limo. He is tells us he needs to run but has an extra second. He talks with us for a few minutes and signs a book of his art that we had. He was just the nicest guy in the world. I will always be a huge fan of Barker for that day and Hellraiser will always be my number 1 horror movie. Nightbreed is also one of my favorites of all time.

I've met Clive Barker at cons before. I agree, he's a way cool guy and really nice.

And yeah, if you're even remotely interested in horror movies, you have to watch the original Hellraiser, as it's an amazing movie. As for the sequels, feel free to skip 'em, as they get progressively worse and worse, with the last few being total dogshit.

The first Hellraiser is actually still up on Netflix which is cool, I was afraid they'd have taken it down at some point.

I'd suggest at least Hellraiser II. I know not everyone likes it but it does have a fair amount of fans so odds are, someone who hasn't seen any Hellraisers might like it.

snake5289 10-25-2016 02:29 PM

I stopped at II and yeah it's not as great as the first but it's still alright.

Byrnes 10-25-2016 02:35 PM

OK I guess I have to confess, as bad as III Hell on Earth and IV Bloodline are, I still kind of enjoyed them in the series of movies. But seriously after that they are straight to video garbage.

Ah ok, I may watch the original one then just to see it.

I would highly recommend it since Pinhead is such a well known character.

I remember an old mad magazine about monsters and one was you know your a monster when....... And the pin head one was when the only weapon you have to fear is a hammer and a scared pinhead with a hammer barreling down on his dome, i laughed hysterically and often wished mel brooks woulda done a parody and used something like that haha.

Speaking of Mel, it's a great time of the year to watch Young Frankenstein and High Anxiety.
