Dioramas and Playsets for 6 Inch Figures

I apologize if there is already a thread for this.

I figured we could have a thread for those of that collect 6 inch figures to tell each other about dioramas and playsets in scale, since they are somewhat hard to come by.

This includes diorama pieces such as the ones that come with Marvel Select or old Marvel Legends.

Extreme-Sets makes some great dioramas for 6" and 7" action figures. I only have their Abandoned House so far, but I was blown away by it. Take a look at this video if you've never seen them before:

I learned about this set recently. It's of course for dolls, but the scale is perfect for 6 inch figures. It requires too much work for me though to convert it into a normal looking room (I'm not much of a customizer, confidence issues I guess), but I've seen some people do amazing things with it.

A lot of the old WWF stuff had amazing accessories. They even released accessory packs (take note Hasbro and Mattel!)

Wrong place to tell them that, they don't look here because they can't handle reality, especially Mattel.

CCC.

It's extremely rare, but there was a pretty amazing library playset made for the 6" Buffy The Vampire Slayer action figures. That was always one of my "Holy Grails" because it looked like it would go great with my Resident Evil collection. Don't think I'll bother looking for it anymore since the 2D pop-up dioramas are quite nice.

I've been looking for that for a good while. I want it for Dr Strange.

I managed to get my hands on it a few years ago, it is pretty awesome.

ohh this is a good thread, good idea weapon x

DST made (2)different Enterprise NX1 bridge pieces for their 6.75 Trek line (more were planned but never ended up getting released) I use them for all sorts of star wars of 'tech' set-ups- nice computer details and the chars are easy to pop on/off. The sets are available for pretty cheap (except the T'Pol section- but it's the same exact piece that comes with Reed, so buying two of the Reed sets can build the same thing as Reed/Archer/T'Pol but save you some $$$)

Ever since you first posted that pic, Bo, I've been trying to track that stuff down. Pricey...great pic by the by...

Bo Ttef 03-26-2017 12:11 PM

... and Galactic Trading Posts' Space Walls of course- I have a few sets with more on the way (Blast Doors) but they aren't cheap- Still, for anything StarWars related, they are absolutely worth the price.

Thanks man, I think it's something we all need.

@Bo, woah I've never seen those before. That is really cool.

There is also the Muppets Kitchen playset by the awesome company Palisades. The thing is amazing, all the drawers and fridge open.

I was lucky enough to get one new a few years back. They also made a Backstage playset which I really want, but I procrastinated on getting it and now it goes for over $200 :(

Good score on that Buffy set. I just found 4-5 on eBay ranging from $300-$1,000...whew, way too rich for my blood...

Yuck. Yeah man, I wouldn't pay that either.

Mi World has made some pretty awesome sets. I haven't had need for stores or a movie theater yet, but these are cool.
