Beat from Jet Set Radio

This is...unexpected.
That said, Jet Set Radio was awesome and a figure of Beat is just a super-cool idea. I'm kinda bummed that they went with the polygonal look for him (after all, they didn't make an 8-bit Arthur), but otherwise the figure looks really good (I've always wanted his t-shirt). I might pick it up. |
No, I won't pick it up. I've decided, the polygonal look is downright ugly. Dumb design choice.

Yeah, just like those polygonal Virtua Fighter figures, this won't mesh with anything.

Other than the overly exposed joints, I think it looks pretty spot on. The cel-shading hid some of the harder edges, but he's still pretty blocky in the game.
