I was thinking the same thing.

So it's supposed to be a female, right? The head sculpt and body, I mean? I'm just a bit confused. The face looks so much like a man, yet the body is the female one being used, I think.

I'm going to need so much more money

That first guy would make a great base for a Golobulus custom.

Female dragon knight looks incredible besides that face but with a mask is fine.

Oh, so it is indeed female! When I first saw the banner, I thought that is a pretty cool looking female figure. Then I saw the face, and he looked like the guy from How to train your dragon lol. So I was like huh, I guess it is a male character.....

That horse looks great.. I wish there'd be a scale comparison photos with the male/female figure O_O

The fantasy stuff looks really good and all, but I can't wait for the Sci-fi series that was shown awhile back. Need an army of those retro rocket-girls!!

yeah, I'm surprised there's been no saddled horse with rider shown yet. They keep showing the same demo figure. Perhaps they're still working out the sizing

Most of these figures are looking fantastic. I don't mind a barbarian with pants. Maybe we'll get a bare legs version later.
I don't like the Female dragon knight with a male face. She can be ugly, no problem. But pick a gender and make them look like it.
The stone gargoyle and snake man are awesome.
I'm not even down buying figures for the current wave... I need more money fast!

needs bare lower legs for a legit Conan... :( Right now you can make the same thing from the Orc parts.... but if you use Spartan parts then he's stuck in sandals... not very Barbarian... I just wish they would throw that part (boots to bare lower leg) out quick before they move on to their Pirate stuff (or is it space next)

On the topic of Conan, there's a reason the genre Conan creator Robert E. Howard founded is called "Swords & Sandals" Conan quite regularly wears sandals while adventuring in the southern civilized lands as he makes his way across Sandy deserts from one great city to the next.

I just backed the Horsie kickstarter, and now I'm looking to pick up some of the Fantasy line. Any suggestions of where to get started would be appreciated.

You can't go wrong with any of the Knights, the Wizard is super cool too.

If I'm just starting, should I grab the exclusives (blasted lands orc, elf-assassin) first before they're gone? Are there more exclusives other than the two listed in the BFS store?

It's easy to get hung up on exclusives. I would focus on the figures you like most.

I agree with BagJo. You can't go wrong with the Knights. They are excellent and great for army building.

Yes, the blasted lands Orcs are cool but so are the green Orcs.

I can't help but think one of the Elves will look great on a Pegasus Horse.

I also went in on the kickstarter for 3 horses.

Yeah, the Horse kickstarter is what gained my interest in Boss Fight again. I had gone whole hog with their series one greeks, but eventually let them all go. Just no personality or reason to collect.

With the horses having so much personality already, I'm trying to decide on their riders. Who would go well with Skull Candy, Sara Francis, or the light and dark unicorn/pegasus?

Right now, I'm most interested in the elves and maybe the orcs. If they unlock the knight of asperity tack kit during the backerkit, then I might get one of those.

I have the Dark Elf lady, really solid figure (and there's ankle pivot!) but she's the only one of the elves I have. The only problem is that she doesn't have the level of customization that the Knights have. If you're not afraid of panting, you could always buy a weapons kit to solve that.

I am getting both of the Pegasi for my Marvel figures that ride them. I need the Dark Pegasus for my custom Nathan Garrett Black Knight.
