Ohhhh shit son! So now I have to choose between this and Mezco?! Nah, both will do just fine.

I need this so badly... that said, I hope they fix the head proportions because it kinda looks too small? Or at the very least, the body is a bit larger due to articulation?

So many choices with John Wick. No idea what to do or choose. I do lean towards Mafex though.

The 1/12 Mezco, is a hit or miss....I have yet to see 1/12 cloth suits look good. So in the end, it's Mafex that will get my bucks.

Mafex has been hit or miss for me, in regards to qc issues. The last few I've gotten have been really great tho. I just pre-ordered this from BBTS, price kinda sucks but I'm hopeful it'll be great.

It's worth noting that the Mezco One:12 comes with weapons from the second film while the Mafex comes with weapons from the first one. Not to mention, the Mafex will most likely scale better with imports while the Mezco might fit better with the creeping size of Marvel Legends figures. It definitely makes me want to get both for different displays.

The messy look near the shoulders don’t bother you guys? They could have made more cleaner cuts, no? But the battle damaged face looks good! The other face is slightly off I think.

For the people complaining about BBTS, that price is going to be ubiquitous until the figure actually comes out. Believe it or not, there are more than three or four online retailers that sell these things.

do you recommend one of these to order from?

It becomes pretty closer in price when you factor in shipping from Japan. BBTS still ends up being more expensive but, IMO, an extra $5 or $10 becomes somewhat negligible when you're spending that much on a figure.
Mafex seem to be creeping up in price anyway and I have no doubt within the next 5 years $100 is going to seem normal for a regular release. Pretty much what happened with Play Arts Kai.

HLJ and Amiami are good places to order from. If you don't mind paying BBTS-like prices, Image Anime in Manhattan usually gets their figures day of release.

yeah i swing through image anime every now and again.
I usually will skip that FIRST release for a figure from them..i guess that's the foreign release...and wait for the American release which usually seems to be about 20.00 cheaper.
This hobby is getting very expensive especially with things JUST LIKE THIS...
I just really..IMO..don't think figures need to be damn near 100.00....
