That's pretty good looking, picking one up. Wish one of the heads were angry though.

I find it funny that while everyone is clamoring for that terrible Walmart repaint version of Thanos, Diamond Select goes and releases this one which no one saw coming (I expected a re-release of the previous version) which not only smokes it, but is in a closer scale to Hasbro's modern Legends as well. Hopefully we see this one stateside at some point.

Not crazy about the sculpted expression, but the rest is beyond outstanding. I need it in my life.

The sculpt and paint-work of the figure put the repaint of the Walmart exclusive to shame, but the head sculpts of the Walmart version just look so much better to me. Two heads with the same shit-eating grin is just a little too much for me, and almost seem a little too out of character. Something a little more stoic or angry on an alternate head would seem to be a better fit. Overall, though, it's a really nice figure. Surprised that it stayed under wraps for as long as it did.

This is sooo much superior to the new marvel legends one which is a fine figure in its own right but this one just blows it out of the water. It’s a instant purchase. They need to do a MCU thanos now

Maybe it's the quality of the pictures but I really don't like his face, and the fact that the alternate head uses the exact same expression is weak. Regardless of the picture quality I also don't like how bulbous the right gauntlet cuff is. Otherwise it looks cool but I definitely prefer the classic Thanos they already did.

I don't like it at all. The head is weird, tiny, pink, etc. Colors seem dull and sloppy. It just seems weak. I like the old one better too. I am not impressed. What is with that weird flappy cheekbone skin? I just think too much is wrong with this.

Anyway there's already a perfect 616 Select Thanos, and it came out a few years ago.

This is not MCU Thanos. This is modern-style comics Thanos with a just a couple liberties taken.

Yeah I kinda like my thanos to have a purple head (no yogurt slinging tho).

He's smiling like how a kid smiles in his kindergarten class photo. I like his new body proportions though compared to the old comic version.

Wonder how easy it would be to put the MCU Thanos BAF head on this figure for an armored MCU look (it wouldn't be exact but it'd be kinda close!)

As I said, it's based on the comics version, specifically the somewhat-more-armored outfit he's been wearing more recently.

The face really does damage the overall appeal of this figure for me, but I love so much of everything else going on there. I'm hoping the fact that the pictures kinda suck isn't doing him any favors. I always kind of thought that conceptually, a Thanos face would be easier to recreate in sculpted form than an actual human one. It's been hit and miss.

Maybe I'm being picky. I do love my new Wal-mart Thanos, though. And for all the criticism about him I've seen here, his head with the neutral expression is probably my favorite so far. I wish this one had that going for it.

This is such a bittersweet release. On one hand, his armor is beautiful and the sculpt is killer. On the other hand, that headsculpt is ridiculous. The teeth and the expression look closer to a creepy old man versus Thanos. A simple smirk or an angry expression would have been way better. And what’s up with that skin tone? Maybe the picture’s aren’t doing the actual tone justice, but he looks way too pink. The whole thing might look way better in person though.
