Fury Files The Punisher Marvel Classics 2009

Well they all can't be perfect. The Punisher 3 3/4 Fury Files figure is looking like my least favorite figure of the wave. I'm not a real huge fan of The Punisher and even less of the old school look and feel. The weapon selection is weak at best with the way over-sized shotgun to the under-sized 9MM. The bulky upper body and bad choice of sculpted hands prevents some of the better poses you would want to be able to use with a Weapons Expert.

The M-16 from the Wolverine can be used but the hands on The Punisher are larger and not designed to hold the short handle. Overall this figure gets a 4 out of 10. I'm sure other people will still be excited to get this version of The Punisher. For me I want a more detailed modern look and feel. I hope the next version is packed with Weapons and Gear, it is The Punisher after all.

Is that even a shotgun dude? Well we can always give him some extra Joe weapons lying around lol.

TheRealDubya 12-09-2008 09:25 PM

Is he able to stand in a non-pooping position (says the father of a 1 year old)

This is my favorite Punisher costume; thanks for posting D.

AdrienVeidt 12-09-2008 09:31 PM

Yeah, WTF is with that gun? It looks like something to Roto-Root the Hulk's toilet.

I hatehatehate them groin notches, and will have to fix them up with some FixIt putty; then a paintjob.

Shin Densetsu 12-09-2008 09:44 PM

The huge gun looks like a SHIELD gun, nonetheless I'd rather havea more realistic gun that Punisher usually uses in his books. The head is too big for this figure, I hope a more accurately sized head is made for a future version.

I love The Punisher, I love the new movie and I;ll buy this figure either way just because.

deceptifocus 12-09-2008 10:36 PM

he looks waaay kiddy compared to Ray Stevenson hah thats all i know

pud333 12-10-2008 01:12 AM

Yeah, this figure is not good. Don't know what else to say. Ah well, one out of eleven turning out bad makes pretty good odds. If Hasbro can manage that kind of ratio for most of the line, I'll be broke. :)

Ktulu 12-10-2008 10:42 AM

His head is hroooge, definitely can tell he ain't the best of the bunch heh

I'm a bit let down bu the punnisher, hopefully the next version is improved.
