Yes, fuck yes! I had a feeling about this being one of NECA's new sellers since I got Kratos at a Target. While it was real nice seeing that Gamestop would have NECA on shelves it also stung a little bit because they do charge more and not every Gamestop seems equally in to having a collectible area.

This is GREAT fucking news! I have, like, a million Targets around me. Very psyched about this announcement!

For GameStop, they are split into two categories. The smaller stores are more game focused with a smaller section for toys, while the larger stores are called 50/50 stores, where they allocate an equal amount of space to collectibles & games.

So more empty pegs at my Targets, woohoo.

This is spectacular news, I had a feeling it would be Target.

Oh, and rumor has it NECA is going to unveil a 1962 Godzilla figure, which was just revealed in MonsterArts form. lol

This is good news. There's a Target not too far from where my TRU was. I don't really ever go in the toy aisle, so I'm not sure how well they keep it stocked, but I do check out the Collector's section whenever I'm there. Lots of Pops on clearance and a Hopper and Eleven from McFarlane. That's it. Hopefully they step up their game a bit.

What will be good is if NECA reps are in charge of stocking the section as opposed to Target employees.

Some people on Facebook are whining about NECA taking business away from local comic stores with the new Target deal. Sure assholes, they can neglect selling through a major national retailer and go out of business in three months just make your bitchy little asses feel better.

I wonder how they will deal with some of the NECA figure violence.

It never bothered TRU. Target said the NECA stuff will be apart from the other toys so a kid browsing *pick a popular line* won't just stumble into the section with severed limbs and bloody murder weapons. Honestly most of NECA's stuff is not visually gory, no gorier than the Walking Dead figures they used to sell at Target.

I’m glad target will be an alternative to GameStop. They’ll probably have the same $3 or so markup, but 5% off with a redcard makes it a lot more appealing

The price jump per figure kind of scares mea bit' because if the Kratos figure is any indication the standard NECA releases will be closer to Ultimate level prices, but all in all the availability will be much appreciated.

I wonder what kind of Target Exclusives they'll have planned in the future?

They didn't stop selling those because of content, they stopped because the line ended and McFarlane pushed in Color Tops in its place.

How about international Target stores? That would be nice...

but I never saw any color tops at my target, maybe just mine, but...
