Is it just me or do the proportions look kind of cartoony

This is a must have. What is a PX Preview Exclusive and how are they typically ordered?

A Previews Exclusive just means that Diamond Previews will be exclusively distributing it to their retailers. So almost any comic shop, and most online stores (BBTS, EE, etc.).

Not sure how I feel on the Batarangs being gold I prefer them being silver like on the PX Exclusive Ascending Knight Batman also looks like the unmaked head is just a place holder since that unmasked head looks no different the the previous unmasked heads that came with all four of the Ascending Knight Batman figures by Mezco.

Head sculpts are not the best looking to me...especially the one with the slightly open mouth. However...that color scheme is my favorite for Bats...with the yellow and black oval symbol...and what seems like a slightly armored look. I just love it. Huge improvement over the regular one. Thanks for the explanation regarding the PX thing...relatively new to collecting.

Excuse my inexperience here. Previews World says it will be out next April, with orders due by August 20th. Does this mean we'll see pre-orders soon? Won't let me post links, but if you go to their website, you can see what I'm talking about under "new to order".

I could be wrong but I think that unmasked head does have some SLIGHT differences to it... but it does look mostly the same. I agree with the batarangs too, they should be silver and not gold/yellow.

You might be on to something. I just hope it turns out to be a Mezco Exclusive and not a bullshit Toy Fair release.

I'm still disappointed they cancelled the Keaton Batman before ever unveiling it. Maybe one day they'll revisit the idea.

Would be nice if they did a comic book Wonder Woman. Then the DC Trinity would be complete.

Oh, the pain I now feel remembering this.

The owner has mentioned having prototypes of several DKR characters and other things we haven't seen. The reason put forth for not revealing/releasing them was due to licensing for non-evergreen properties took priority at the time.
Smells like a soft cancellations, unlike the previous Batmobiles, but I'm still holding out hope for a Keaton Batman and DKR Supes and Joker.

Golden batarangs nope.
But I like the fact they changed the combination of fabric (pleather & lycra) on this exclusive release. It's completely different than the one we have seen (the black version) .
I was never a big fan of this colour scheme, only like DKR with this colours. But thats my opinion.
Anyway, bring us Banes please.

I think the same head sculpt with maybe some aging and slightly grey hair is the idea, he is the second batman in this "knight" series.

this looks good and im not really into mez 1/12 stuff. i like the head with the smaller horns better for some reason, that bat drone is brilliant.

damn, I hadn't even though of a Bane. Make it Hulk sized and that would be a great figure.

one armed Green Arrow would be fun.
