Original or bootleg - NECA 1989 videogame Batman
 

Hello. Can anybody tell me if this figure is original or fake? Generally it looks good, but there are misprints over the knees on both legs. Could it be a manufacturing defect?

Looks legit to me. Not sure what you mean by misprint but if you're referring to the drybrushed lighter purple color they all have that.

Where did you buy your Batman?

One local store in Russia

I don't know much about Neca distribution, but if their figures are normally sold in Russia and the store you bought it from carries them then it's probably legit. Even if it isn't, the KO Neca figures I've bought have been pretty good quality.

Has NECA ever had a bootleg problem? I didn’t think they had wide enough distribution to catch the bootleggers attention? Unless their factory is doing the “out the back door” bootlegs?

They've had a fair amount of bootlegging. Pretty sure the Foot Clan packs got knockoffs as well as the comic versions of the Turtles, and their Shaun of the Dead Zombie Ed got the mold stolen and reproduced so it never even officially made it to store shelves.
