I don't really know this game well, but I thought I remember them doing an R-Type prototype for a show. Did that ever go up for sale?

Not yet, still waiting for that myself. I fear the price it's going to be, but it will be a set I really hope to buy.

Yeah $100 for these 2 ships isn't exactly comforting haha. The R-Type one looked really cool.

I played the hell out of 2 & 3 back in the day. 3 was by far my favorite.

That being said not buying these, way too expensive and it's one of those things where just because I experienced and/or enjoyed it doesn't mean I need a plastic representation of it.
