I thought the movie was pretty good, and I really liked that they utilized his iconic gold and green suit. I'd like to get this, I may get this. I know the hair limits articulation but I prefer this sculpted hair over rooted so I'll sacrifice articulation. Would be nice if they had a 2nd head sculpt with more of a wet hair look, idk.

Never in a million years did I think they'd put a comic accurate Aquaman on the big screen. I love it!

Hopefully all that s**t about Arthur being a joke superhero will finally be put to bed.

This movie screened Dec 15th at 7pm for anyone who is an Amazon Prime member, tickets were available thru Atom Tickets via Amazon. So I saw it in a packed theater, which many did across the country that day. So it technically opened already, for some of us who got tickets to that Saturday showing.

$243 for a figure with one accessory and a reused headsculpt is pretty shitty.

Nope. There've been early screenings for Prime members since last week. Movie even made it into the Top 10 because of it.

Very excited! Pre-ordered this as soon as I saw it go up. Hopefully they make Black Manta as well.
It took me a while to figure this out since I've been a fan of Aquaman comics and never delved much into his pop culture reception, but essentially Aquaman is subject to a lot of mean-spirited jokes as a "useless superhero" (mainly aimed at his Super Friends depiction and how his powers is supposedly only "talks to fish"). This was mainly perpetrated by a lot of comedians/comedy shows over the years, to the point where people would even parody this exact sentiment. It sucks because it shows a huge level of ignorance towards Aquaman's comics wherein people are quick to make fun of him due to this.

didnt even know that was a thing, i wouldnt pay attention to that cause all superheros are fantasy so you can make fun of all superheros in reality...
