Not a fan of the design, but the details and costume at this scale look quite well, but the unmasked portrait and jacket are quite unappealing.

Happy for those that want it.

She looks very bored lol I think they should have chosen a different expression. Everything else looks "ok"

Oh... so she should be what? Smiling? Like every other superhero figure they've done? What a ridiculous thing to say. You gonna tell me Thor or Black Panther looks "bored" now too because they've got no smiling faces? How about Wonder Woman? She not looking "bored" with her straight face and *mouth slightly open* face? Or did you just want to add on to the unnecessary criticism of Brie Larson in general?

I don't think that's jumping on any "Brie Sucks" bandwagon- I'm not a fan or her based on what I've seen her in- "More Wooden than Jake Lloyd" comes to mind without the excuse of being a kid- But in regards to the figure- Mezco does a great job on the alt heads- Exctly like WonderWoman, Thor, etc etc etc- There is a big difference in a "serious" or stern or slightly smiling head vs the Brie head just looking flat out bored. That's not anything on Brie- that's all Mezco for going with that. Maybe she spends most of the movie looking bored... IDK...I'll find out 3/8. But on the figure it looks really weird- especially in the pics where they have her blasting her power force. Bored.

lol umm how about you BREATHE a second. See you know nothing about me, so you sound pretty silly. My dislike of the facial expression has nothing to do with Brie Larson. I just don't like the "bored" expression. In my opinion, it just doesn't fit on this figure.

As far as Captain Marvel, I love the character. As far as Brie Larson, I actually think she's a great choice for the role! So how about that? What if I told you I've been stoked for this movie forever, and bought tickets to both Friday and Saturday next week to see this movie TWICE? I stay out of politics and personal opinions on what people say or do. If they are a good actor/actress, I like em, and she seems like she will do a good job.

So knowing all that now, is it OK to still not like this facial expression? Or am I not allowed to have an opinion on the internet?

This discussion went off the rails sooner than expected.

The likeness is there, but the expression, as others have pointed out, is the sticking point. Mezco has had neutral/stoic actor portraits with several releases and they are either accompanied by another sculpt (Superman, Wonder Woman) or have sculpting that communicates focus or tension (Knightmare Batman, Thor).

While it is nice to get the illuminating head and the other portraits, buyers are stuck between choosing Blue Steel, Ferrari, and Le Tigre for expressions.

She's just worn out after a long day of superheroing. Should come with pillow and blanket accessories.

Yeah, I love Brie and I’m really excited for this movie, the expression they’ve sculpted for her here looks a bit.... sleepy.

Despite the somewhat tired expression, this is probably one of the best Brie Larson likenesses.

I think, they were going for a determined look, and instead ended up twith a sleepy/bored expression, she looks after seen the line on the DMV...
