Old figure identification??
Hi folks.
Many years ago, probably 1974/75 I was given a toy action figure, it was lost somewhere during a couple of childhood moves and while I don't necessarily want to get another one, It's been bugging me recently and need to know what it was. All I can remember is, it kind of made me think of a half person, half fly. He was made with clear and smoke plastic, and I remember his chest opened, I can't remember what was inside, he might have had wings, I'm afraid my brain isn't sure. I'm guessing he was anywhere from 6 inches plus in height, I couldn't say where (worldwide) he was from, I had relatives all over the place, could well have been brought over from the states or Japan. Anyone have any ideas who/what he might have been? Many thanks. |
sounds a lot like a micronaut... but those guys were on 3.75... worth taking a look here-

Similar, but not quite. Definitely bigger, and had a more rounded feel than those, maybe more dimensionally correct. I know there was nothing else like it in the shops in the UK, so it must have been brought back from somewhere by a relative.
Thanks tho. |

Likely an Aura Battler Dunbine figure. It’s 80’s era though. But do an image search because you’ve pretty much nailed the description of a dunbine toy that was widely bootlegged and sold in the US.
