I don't really collect wrestling figures but that's awesome! Packaging is great.

Comedian 06-05-2019 07:12 AM

Snap! That is awesome. Insta-buy.

Tony_Bacala 06-05-2019 07:15 AM

So Perfect.

Krydion 06-05-2019 08:49 AM

Oh YeaHHHHHHHHHHH! Snap into a Slim Jim!!!!!

Dolemite 06-05-2019 09:07 AM

Oh, SHIT. Possibly the greatest SDCC exclusive EVER!

Tony_Bacala 06-05-2019 09:44 AM

I came back on the site after a round of other stuff and saw it again and was equally as shocked and happy when I saw it the second time. :)

Freekazoo 06-05-2019 02:08 PM

That packaging is savage.

Glad to see that even among action figures, the cream still rises to the top.

JerpJerp 06-06-2019 12:35 AM

I want tht for sure...how much will it be on ebay...hmmmm....

SDCC 2019 Exclusive Batman Figures and Hot Wheels from Mattel - The Toyark - News

https://news.toyark.com/wp-content/u...Batman-001.jpg

ShabbyBlue 06-10-2019 10:41 AM

Guess I'll have to get that box set since I really want that Zebra Batman.

Freekazoo 06-10-2019 10:53 AM

The packaging on the Hot Wheels is wonderful, but holy hell is that price rough. I had forgotten how exuberant prices on licensed Hot Wheel could get.

The Batman Box looks fantastic.

Vamp 06-10-2019 10:57 AM

ohh, the Bats box set looks superb. im not into packaging but that one looks tempting

ludovicotek 06-10-2019 11:26 AM

That zebra Batman is so ridiculous it’s almost a must-have.

t1dc 06-10-2019 11:31 AM

damn, Zebra Batman is perfect.

will the order page be active before 6/17?

are these going to be able to purchase for people not attending SDCC?

ddarko 06-10-2019 11:54 AM

That is some seriously over the top colour choices. The multicoloured Batman has already given me a craving to run out and buy some gummy bears :D

SpasticPlastic 06-10-2019 01:23 PM

I've wanted a Batman set just like that for years…but not from Mattel. Those look terrible. Just cheap plastic and translucent fabric. Yuck.

evilekim 06-10-2019 01:35 PM

Batmobile set is awesome, but $25 is crazy for such a small piece. The '89 Batman figure is cool too, looks like he's saying "Shields" into the device.
The Batman figure set looks bad IMO. Not sure why anyone would spend $80 for repaints of mediocre Batman figures. I expected more from them considering this is the last year they'll be able to make this type of stuff.

Primehunter 06-10-2019 01:37 PM

And this is why they lost the license.

On the contrary, I don't see them bothering to put much effort into it, now that they don't need to impress anybody and are probably getting ready for whatever restructuring is to come.

Bo Ttef 06-10-2019 03:17 PM

Might just have to get that set for the classic Batman. It's the modern build that Mattel JUST figured out and will probably be the last chance to get a Marvel Legends compatible Batman (Who knows what the heck we'll get out of Mcfarlane)Easy enough to dump Rainbow/Zebra/Negative Batman for ebay prices I bet and get that Classic for free... will have to think about this one...

HunterKnight 06-10-2019 03:55 PM

Gizmodo has updated the article stating that these will not be available for non attendees. Preorders will be offered to people attending SDCC so they can pick them up at the con floor. Scroll all the way down to the bottom.

I LOVE that about Mattel! They've made the last few years of getting the con exclusives (for someone that goes to the con) super easy to get. Vs. Con Exclusives that disappear while you're waiting in line to buy them (Hasbro... Neca... Mezco...)

BIGGUY007 06-10-2019 09:36 PM

I realize it's a convention exclusive, but paying $25 for a Hot Wheel seems a bit steep.

Dr Kain 06-10-2019 09:55 PM

Those proportions on those Batman figures look so bad and the cheap cloth capes aren't helping. They should have did rubber capes.

Of course, they should have went out with a nice Silver Age Flash set instead of ANOTHER god damn Batman set. I really hope McFarlane actually shows some Flash love.
