Amazing Yamaguchi Revoltech Harley Quinn Announced

Philimanjaro 06-10-2019 05:24 AM

Hell yeah, this looks amazing. This is a definite buy for me

RamenRider 06-10-2019 05:42 AM

... Harley Quinn? Really? Huh. Gotta say, didn’t see that one coming.

Don’t like the character though so that's an easy pass.

Skoob 06-10-2019 05:51 AM

Looks like fun. Compare with Figuarts.

Dolemite 06-10-2019 06:46 AM

The design they used for the Figuarts version was vomit-inducing. This one looks much better, but nothing will ever compare to the old-school Animated Series design.

BagJo 06-10-2019 07:30 AM

I think she looks fantastic, I just don't buy revoltech figures.

Toonstrack 06-10-2019 07:31 AM

This is one of thise things I never actually considered but it works due to the characters acrobatic and nimble style. Might be down for this, I hope there are more accessories than that tho

evilekim 06-10-2019 01:41 PM

The body and articulation look fantastic, but the anime face will ruin it for me. Looks like one of those overly sexy statues that we see so many import companies make.

I brought forward the comparison because to me, they look very similar.

We agree on one point: Bruce Timm's Harley was definitive. :thumbs

Vamp 06-10-2019 02:08 PM

looks like they fixed the weird thighs that they always use, which kept me from buying. well see.

TimespliTT 06-10-2019 09:29 PM

looks like her hip is photoshopped

Kinda surprised that they didn't go with her blonde hair with dyed tips look.

Don’t you know all these celebrity women are photoshopped these days. ;)

And thank goodness they didn't!

dukefett 07-30-2019 07:51 AM

I'm most surprised at how thick she is. So many females from JP companies have rail thin limbs, Psylocke was like that. A nice departure so she won't feel so frail.

I believe it's spelled "thicc" ;) Vernacular of kids these days...

As documented in this very thread, I don’t like Harley Quinn but they did some mighty fine work here. The image posted by Joe above almost makes it look like a statue, only the elbow joints and the seams at the shoulders give it away really.

Considering how ugly the joints used to look on these figures it's quite amazing to see.

Thumbs up, if I had any interest in the character I’d buy one.

They definitely did a great job. I haven't gotten into the DC Yamaguchi line, but might have to end up getting Batman and Deathstroke now......

BagJo 07-31-2019 06:16 PM

If this didn't have clicky joints I'd be down. Here's hoping Mafex will release something of this caliber

dukefett 08-01-2019 09:27 AM

If I were still buying everything I'd get her, but I'm gonna stick with the Mezco. Hopefully AY puts out a Joker to go with her though, then maybe I'd pick her up too.

Going by Revoltech's recent Iron Man, they might be moving away from clicky joints to some extent. IIRC, the majority of the joints in their Iron Man are smooth joints like you'd see with other companies' 6-inch figures.

Harbinger 08-01-2019 02:27 PM

She certainly got them birthin’ hips.

RamenRider 08-02-2019 07:45 AM

Huh... that's weird. Guess Europe's screwed; among others. You just gotta love licensing bullshit.
