I'm not seeing how this is 700 when the 18 inch figure was around 100. Also hope they reinforced the legs somehow since the legs on the 18 inch version tended to warp after a couple of months of display due to the weight of the figure.

It's not a 1/1 sliding scale on the amount of materials used to go from 1/4 scale to 1/2 scale. You're probably looking at 5 to 6 times the amount of materials used on the 1/2 scale compared to the 1/4 scale. Not to mention the increase in number of molds and using much larger molds overall.

Always remember the pizza comparison. One 18" pizza is larger than two 12" pizzas.

I forgot how expensive this things is. Assuming the same materials and density are used, this thing has 8 times the volume and mass as the 18", which would come to $800. Pretty basic cost estimate, but effective in this situation to see that they are offering a bit of a discounted item, likely due to saving on the design/engineering and possibly for the novelty of having a high quality 36" figure that can pose relatively well, especially compared to Jakks Pacific's offering

What no one can pose his legs? I havent watched him in a minute but we need Shartimus Prime to do his review to see JUST how posable he is. Id do it, but i dont collect 36" human action figures. :)
