They fact they were able to get cloth on the wrist area is insane. Really think this looks great plus gives people option to have a more classic look or they can choose a more modern look with the regular release. Which I'm digging the classic look more just by how well it looks.

I agree. However, I think they have a little work to do on her briefs. They currently look a little thick and diaper like in isometric angles.

Weapons and face are fantastic! Shorts are … troublesome.

Man I love this, great accessories, fantastic sculpt. I'll definitely look into picking this one up.

Wow. I usually really dislike the Mezco ONE:12 stuff because cloth at this scale just does not work (IMO), but this Wonder Woman looks amazing. The shorts definitely need some help, but overall a really fantastic looking figure.

If they used a darker blue, it would be more acceptable. But with this bright blue, and not following her "cheeks" well, It looks like she's wearing the "Little Swimmers".

Sad, too, coz she is BEAUTIFULLY sculpted. While not Linda Carter, the face does have the grace and poise to make a fan of that show (me) happy.

I don't mind it especially since Wonder Woman was always more..thicker back in older comics. This does touch on classic first appearance look of her but not fully since her first appearance she had a skirt/baggy shorts. I think this reminds me more of Darwyn Cooke's art of Wonder Woman just by how thick she looks even a big baggy with the briefs.

webz 10-04-2019 10:56 AM

Well, they lost me with the exclusive. Mezco I don't buy sight-unseen coz so many look great in pics, on lit sets with dioramas, but ugly on a shelf in a home.

I don't mind the womernz thick at all. But I don't care for the thick fabric. It's distracting from the figure's overall aesthetic.

Could it be because this figure literally has no cloth goods outside of the pants? (capes don't count; non-Mezco figures have cloth capes too)

Am I crazy here? I thought the whole point of cloth goods on articulated figures is to hide unseemly joints. What joint are the pants hiding? The pelvis looks like a single piece.

Nah. Cloth just "adds realism" … or makes 'em look like kids in jammies. These are supposed to be like Hot Toys just in a smaller scale.

Overall, looks like a very nice figure,Which i may get.Only thing i don't like about it are the head sculpts.Perhaps a simple customizing on my part will solve it.Maybe a Dc direct Terry Dodson series 1 wonder woman or perhaps a Justice League classic icons wonder woman...

Shadowknight1 10-05-2019 05:38 AM

I'd rather get the armored one with the skirt...I just hope that one has at least the same amount of weapons.
