I'm really trying to remember, did he have a "punch your eye balls out" fatality lol. Either way it's an awesome piece. I guess the other effect is made to fit over the foot?

I just want the Ice Blast for my mk1 Subzero. The Ice Blast for MK1 was HORRIBLE looking, imho.

I'm so hoping they don't go all the way down the roster with the MK3 ninjas...although I'm sure they will. My wallet will be hurting.

Looks like we might not get that MK3 Kuai Liang Sub-Zero we saw the prototype of, after all. There are enough differences between the two to justify it, but I'd still be surprised if we get two SZ's from (technically) the same game.

I'm sure they'll do that one too, I think this one was also to get a regular SZ figure out there for those who need one since many missed the first releases.

I can certainly respect that, since I missed out on Sub-Zero, too. Whether or not I bite on this one, I'll hold out hope for the maskless version (and UMK3 Noob, as well).

not missing much. Quality of recent figures is a LOT better than the first ones. My MK1 Subzero is frozen... not from a double-freeze... but from broken joints in the shoulder and leg from minimal manipulations.

The closest thing I can think of is in UMK3 and MKT, there's a fatality where classic Sub Zero reaches for his opponent's face or head, then the screen goes black followed by a ripping sound and a scream. Most assume it's a censored version of the spine rip fatality from MK1 but it could also be some kind of eye rip fatality, considering the screen goes black.

These effect part make me want to pick up both a clean set and a bloody set. One to display somewhat static and the other to display using their fatalities. Bring on the rest of the MK3 ninjas.

The face punching piece alone makes it worth getting. Doesn't hurt that Subby is my favorite character though.

Yep. Of all the MK1-2 ninjas, the only one that had a defect was my MK-1 Sub-Zero. One of the shoulders/arms pops off if I position it above chest level. Some of the effects for the other ninjas require you to pop-off certain limbs... like the feet from the MK2 Smoke. But I am too paranoid to even try it..... It feels like it shouldnt be pulled off.

They got the description wrong. This SZ is Bi-Han, not Kuai Liang.

That's sad to hear! The MKII ninja designs are my favorite, so I was always upset I missed out on them; but given the QC issues, I guess I dodged a bullet. That being said, UMK3 Scorpion was my first fig and I absolutely love it, so I'm excited for the other ninjas to follow.
