Oh, they wouldn't dare keep it on the old style body, would they? That would just be trolling.

I wouldn't think so, seeing how they put out that DMC figure with new joints, but with NECA you never know :p

The bodies from the first and second films are entirely different, so they won't be using the one from the recent G1 releases. It's gonna be the one from the old G2 releases. It's the same figure they showed back then, there MIGHT be some new touches or a new head, but the basic body's gonna be what we got with the previous G2 releases, I'd think.

Damnit now i need one of those diamond figures of robert picardo from voyager. ;)

I for one am very happy we are getting this figure finally. I hope they maybe re issue the Mohawk and even the others so I can have a chance at them making the Veggie Gremlin.

I would even take an I heart NY gremlin, wait a minute .... what happened to that WB chest logo Gremlin they talked about doing finally also???

They could do Ultimate Daffy with dentist office outfit...

Who were the other 2 Gremlins teased by NECA in last week's SDCC reveal? And weren't they planning a Gremlins "accessory pack" which would include an unhatched cocoon? That was teased at New York Toy Fair back in February. I wonder if they are still planning that for this year.

I know there’s been inclinations to more G2 figures like Greta, but apart from the WB chest tat Gremlin I recall seeing months back, I’m figuring it won’t be a thing due to the absurd level of detail necessary to do it, but what are the potential odds of a Vegetable Gremlin?! Outside of Mohawk morphing into the Spider Gremlin, that was my favorite Baker design in the film. Maybe that’s just me, though I sure hope not.

I believe they said the Veggie Gremlin was possible down the line. They're likely using the numerous variants of the base Gremlin/Stripe(Summer Games, Back to School, Xmas) to fund the tooling for more one off figures.

Yeah. I'd say it's probably likely if sales continue to go well. I think Greta is a good sales test. If she moves in good numbers, then I think that's the signal to them that the collector market is primed for more unique characters.
