Casting Choices in the MCU
 

If you were casting Disney’s rebooted X-Men, who are you casting as:

Wolverine
Cyclops

Ummm... Timothee Chalamet (with a haircut) as Cyclops.

Louis Partridge from Enola Homles as Gambit... guess we should wait a few years for him to get older though.

Disney should rent a dump truck... fill it with cash... drive to Hugh Jackman's house and beg him to comeback as Wolverine... then they can just de-age him or whatever.

Kristen Kreuk as Psylocke.

When the x-men are moved into the mcu, I’d rather them take the Spider-Man route. Hire a bunch of young kids who can act, place them in a school, and basically make the MCU’s version of X-men a Harry Potter-like franchise. Over the course of 5 or 6 films, the teenage cast can grow together, and you can move from the 1960’s stories to the modern ones. I don’t want another Wolverine movie franchise with casually included X-men. Build up to Wolverine in movie 3 or 4.

Disney has a generator that pumps out teen actors like Apple spews out minor upgraded phones, so the cast of X-Men will be hard to make in a forum wishlist. They could do a modified version of X-men Evolution/X2, with magneto being the baddie with his Brotherhood, and at the end Magneto forms his own Hellfire Academy at the end and siphons some of Xavier’s students. 2nd movie being “Gryffindor X-Men” vs “Slytherin Hellfire Academy”. 3rd one could be the first team graduates, and is kidnapped and Xavier creates a “Gold Team” to rescue the kidnapped “Blue Team” and THIS is where you introduce Wolverine, Gambit, and a few other X-men who were never teens.

Let the franchise expand over the course of a decade, rather than “wham-bam-thankyou-ma’am” everything. I don’t know about you, but I’m more than willing to let 10 or 15 years pass before I see another stab at Dark Phoenix on the big screen.

Richard would be a cool replacement for Hugh.
