I think this is the first one of these where they didn't have to modify the character design at all to fit their style.

Can't wait for Storm Collectibles to hit her eventually, too.

Got excited for a sec thinking this was the reveal of the Storm Collectibles figure, but this is pretty damn nice as well. I'd feel like a total perv owning it, but...dare I?

Wish we got articulated figures in this style rather than statues- would be all over them if that were the case

I'm still floored Storm Collectibles chose to make Demitri first when Morrigan is easily the most popular Darkstalkers character.

Ooh yeah I called it, knew they would eventually do this line...May get this one even though I've gotten rid of all my SF ones...

Its actually not that surprising. Their entire output is mostly big bulky male characters and their sculptors have said they prefer working on that than female figures.

So true. But given how bad Cammy was (beyond that choice of outfit) and how Nakoruru looks like she's wearing a diaper, I can see that they don't put a whole lot of care into making female figures.

But they probably SHOULDN'T pick up something like Darkstalkers or King of Fighters, properties where it's pretty much the women are the most popular characters outside of the MCs (being Dimitri, Kyo, Iori, and Terry), if they hate doing female characters.

But given they announced Mai Shiranui, Blue Mary, and Kitana ages ago and we've seen hide nor hair of them, I think it's safe to say it'll be a long time before we get them.

Storm seems to stretch itself too thin, and then put out a couple of figures in a line quickly and then fall back on endless repaints or retools, with the exception of Street Fighter and Injustice.

I think it looks great. But with the way prices seem to increase with EVERY new preorder, I venture to guess $130-150. Which leaves me out.

Geez...that looks astonishingly good. But again, I don't know if I can actually own it without feeling like a total degenerate. I think my girlfriend would understand as she's familiar with Darkstalkers and everything, but I feel like I'd have to stick it in the closet whenever we have someone over.

Lots of thinking to do before March 2020.

Totally understand where you are coming from; I was the same till I bought my first 1/6 Mai Shiranui by Amakuni several years ago. Now I have a 1/4 statue (Kinetiquettes), a nendoroid with the Amakuni's in their own display case.

My concern is that if I get this, it'll be a start on a new line (DarkStalkers) and history'll probably repeat itself.

As someone that has had at least one each of Mai and DOA's Kasumi hanging around on display for many years, I'd say just display Morrigan in a place where you'll see it but most people who visit won't ever notice it.

I don't think anyone really side eyes that kind of stuff unless it's a dominant part of your display. If it's not on a pedestal in the center of your living room or one in a whole wall of sexy cartoon girls, you're not going to elicit any reaction you wouldn't already get from a toy collection in the first place

It might get more attention than another individual piece, but that's just target fixation not different feelings overall, you know?
