what happened to her body proportions?
 

I was looking forward for this Black Widow, but what happen to her chest and hips, task master has more curves than Black Widow.

There’s probably a good reason why Taskmaster has those physical features. Maybe we’ll find out after we’ve seen the movie and then praise Hot Toys for their accuracy! :-)

Funny that only the Figuarts version of Taskmaster includes his revolver thus far.

I was trying to remember what else the Figuarts had, I remember a lift up visor too, I'm really surprised the HT doesn't have it, or at least isn't showing it yet.

Both of these look decent, I have the Figuarts, almost a year now haha, so not sure I'll upgrade. Hope to see the movie!

I presume the lack of revolver was the increasing "No Real Guns" thing for figures under a certain price point.

Little doubt he's still a he and Anthony Masters. No way they whitewash an African American character into a white girl.

Anthony Masters has always been caucasian in every comic I've ever seen depict him out of costume or unmasked. As for the movie, the fact that we still don't know who's playing Taskmaster does lend credit to the speculation that some other character will turn out to be the Taskmaster so it can be some "surprise" reveal moment.

That'd DC with the gun problem, Marvel has been fine so far. BW comes with three pistols and is the same price as Taskmaster.

I was thinking of Ultimate Taskmaster.

So many designs are taken from Ultimate versions in the MCU I wouldn't be surprised.

I keep seeing O.T. Fagbenle being rumored to be Taskmaster.

MCU Zemo just came with a gold "space gun" instead of his IRL handgun from the show, though.

I think that's just Hasbro re-using the old sucky gun mold instead of molding a new handgun.

Probably a bad choice in this case to go with sculpted hair for BW. There will be no articulation of the head to turn left, right, or even move back or forward. That makes most poses difficult and it already kind of shows in the photos.

Having all the other Widows, as bad as that hair looks for articulation I also have a hard time going back to real rooted hair for her.

Especially after that janky Infinity War one.

The more posed shots I see of Taskmaster, the more feminine he looks.

Wouldn't be surprised tbh if they indeed spring that "twist" in the movie tbh. The whole cast is predominantly female, what with the Red Room and everything, so it'd make sense to have a female villain, at least according to Hollywood logic.
