Nope, I didn't finally lose my marbles. Thanks to a summer promotion Target did a big restock of their Cobra Island figures and I was able to score this version of the Cobra Trooper. I was surprised by how much is different between this version and the mass retail release. The web gear, armor plating, and helmet all feature different painted details. The biggest difference between the two releases is the Nerf-inspired sniper rifle that's not included with the mass retail release. Target still has the figure in stock on its website so this is the best option to get a Trooper for retail price.
