‘Bout time. I know a lot of people who have been patiently waiting for this, not being satisfied with the Legends figure.

The Legends one actually looks pretty good IMO. I just don't do Marvel Legends, especially not if release them in a two-pack with another figure I don’t care about.

I just hope he comes with his guns. The SHF Black Widow they put up for pre-order like 2 months ago includes some, so I hope we're good.

Hopefully he'll come with an un-masked head, as that's what I don't like about my Marvel Legends version.

Frustrating to have in hand, though. Everyone knows about his pistols, but he also has these weirdly long calves, which can make kneeling poses look rather awkward, and his feet are set at odd angles that make deep stances tricky (not to mention awkward-looking). Infuriatingly, his legs from the knees down are sculpted in two pieces, but rather than halving calf-swivels like any properly-designed action figure, the parts are instead fused together, leading to the above-mentioned difficulty with deep stances. Also, despite having a double ball-jointed neck, his head has very little range of motion, and the whole figure is a sort of weird mishmash of the costumes from the first and second Deadpool movies, with the swords from the first, the pistol holsters from the second, and the included hands split between the two.

That sucks. From my experience (experience meaning I own way too many of them) Figuarts are perfect to handle, so as long as they nail the look I'm going to buy one.

Thats weird people...did you notice the holes on the thigh guards? Are there any holsters supposed to fit it there?

Every movie Deadpool figure seemes to not include an unmasked head.

I think the ML figure may still have this one beat articulation wise (especially in the ankles) but the paint wash on this is too good to pass up. A deluxe version with unmasked head and maybe alternate wounded body parts would be an absolute must buy!

I think that, while there are no guns pictured, the figure will include guns and holsters among the accessories. I definitely see trigger fingers in there. Toy companies have been weird lately about marketing guns.

I don't think so. If it was a thing about not showing / advertising the guns, they could’ve still listed them as well as holsters on the item page, yet they didn't.

I think the hole is there because it was intended to have holsters and guns while it was in development but they had to scratch them. Redoing a mold would’ve been to costly so they left it like this. Also keeps the backdoor open for a rerelease once this pointless marketing shtick from entertainment companies blows over.

I just wish Figuarts were a bit bigger, so they fit in with Marvel Legends scale wise. Only thing I have in Figuarts scale is, well, the 2 Figuarts I have.

This makes sense...i know its not the same scenario but the upcoming crow figure from mezco and constantine are rumored to include guns though not advertised beforehand.

Bit disappointing. was hoping Bandai SHF didnt have to deal with "yielding" to Hasbro with Deadpool Film version but seems they did here. The tipping point for me to preorder a new Deadpool figure would be on an unmasked head. I'm sure we would all love a great (unscarred) Ryan Reynolds headsculpt for multiple uses but wouldnt think a scarred up Wade facesculpt as a difficult ask.
Yeah lack of little firearms here sucks as the current norm, the upper thigh padding is just a sick joke really. Give us the unmasked headsculpt if you arent going to give us the guns.

Side positive hopeful thought, does this mean we might be getting SHF versions of Xmen film figures?
