When I saw this on screen it was such a huge deal as it was the first major redesign of the movie suit(and you had Robin too). I still don't get why he needed the Sonar function. The target was quite visible.

Alfred made it seem like Bruce was pushing it using this experimental suit. Yeah to sell toys but man they got me.

But then they got lazy thinking an "artic" version of the suit was a good idea.
