Mcfarlane Grant Gustin Flash
|
Not a bad looking flash. I am hoping we will get either a classic wally or rebirth red and silver wally west soon.
|
No wonder Barry Allen keeps fucking around with the timestream, his brain must be the size of a walnut!
|
Season 7? But we're on season 8 now. So that means no gold boots? I want the gold boots, Toddo. But aye, it looks quite nice. Even if the proportions seem a bit sus.
|
why is mcfarlane so committed to this pointy ab joint sculpt? it's uglier and less functional than a rounded sculpt would be.
|
My God! If he bends too far forward he'll stab himself in the stomach with his blade ribs. WHT is that shit?!

I think they try to use the lines of the suit to make the cut based on that, they did the same to Aquaman from the Snyder Cut, I don't know what I think about that, it's different, I don't think that's a bad idea.

Edit: Sorry for the duplicate reply, it was my first post. |
If they’re doing Arrowverse stuff I wanna see STRIPES. And a Hoechlin Superman.
|
That looks VERY nice. Much better than the show has been lately.
|
Actually looks like a well done face sculpt. His ab cut looks bad, though. At least in terms of movement.
If this is Season 7 version, I hope the forthcoming Godspeed is from the show, too. Still wish we had gotten a subline of figures from the shows like DC Collectibles did. At least Arrow, Flash, Superman, Batwoman, Stargirl, Naomi, and Supergirl would make a nice couple waves. I also suspect we'll be seeing a show Reverse Flash soon. Easy way for McFarlane to reuse the sculpt. |
Will his Accessories be Iris West and an alt Crying Head is the question. :p

BBTS and Amazon links are active for this figure.
Yes it's last seasons suit which is no surprise as they only switched the boots in the last episode that aired. You could paint these gold but the actual gold boots on the show have a unique design. It has all the design elements of the CW suit. Though it adds in texture area where the suit is a lighter red. It's not like Injustice 2 Flash that has extreme color differences. In general the current Flash suit looks like it has one red despite having slightly different shades(and that might just be material differences). Like Godspeed they have sculpted the wrists and ankle tumor joints. I think they've sorta done a better job on flash. The problem is his wrists have no texture despite the hand and lower arm having a texture. The ankles seem a bit more successful. The elephant in the room are SIDE EYE - We all know it's ridiculously bad, the horse is a skeleton now. Torso - It's way too wide with the weirdest torso cuts. So with this figure the box art is the render of the design against a black background. The torso cut on that render is MUCH better. It's a much smoother cut and the torso seems narrower. I don't know what happened between that design and the final product. Grant got bigger but like in the shoulders. |
Th hide abs...eye sore. Worsr ever.
Wwe Ultimates and Diamond Select had better ab joints. Pivots work better and look better than traditional ab crunches |
Intersting.
The trading card shows Flash with a good looking torso joint. WHY DID THEY CHANGE IT TO THIS MONSTROSITY?! |
Looks decent
