As a classic IP character, the Alien has been popular for 43 years since its first appearance in 1979. The Alien is one of the most iconic horror movie villains. Almost all the moviegoers had nightmares about it in 1980s and its influence continues to even today.

The only "shock to the senses" I experienced is the price tag: $550 USD for an Alien design that's been around for 43 years!?!? "Raffle for a chance to buy"?!?! And here we are complaining about exclusives. I guess there's a high-brow designer-toy market out there that I'm not in the tax-bracket for.
