It would have been cool if the whole figure had that translucent effect. That would really make it pop. Just doing part of the arms is kinda underwhelming.

It's a regular figure with the Sub-Zero translucent arms.

Not a bad exclusive for a e-tailer not called Amazon.

I swear there are too many variants of the MK ninjas by Storm. In a way, it feels good because one can pick one up if one missed a previous release. But, it really feels like a tad too many. So many of the characters of the series like Kitana and Mileena are still waiting for their first figure after all.

This type of exclusive is literally just to cash in and make money for both Storm and BBTS. Exact same molds, don't have to do anything, and BBTS can charge $100 for them.
