That's a really bad take on Masterverse Shadow Weaver and Sorceress. How do we get a perfectly accurate Frosta (my daughter will be thrilled) but weird, modernized takes on two more important characters?

80sforged 07-20-2022 07:32 PM

Here's hoping Shadow Weaver will have sleeves. Or did Orko start a trend with magic users to go sleeveless.

I have to assume she's not fully complete in that picture. I hope she will have some kind of sleeves or at least have her arms painted correctly.

Eternia Playset looks awesome!!

EvilMonkeyPope 07-20-2022 08:13 PM

God-Lyn finally got unveiled, so I guess all my badgering paid off! She better come with the Sword Of Power too!

Atomsmasher 07-20-2022 09:20 PM

Revelations is going deeper than I thought and I'm here for it.

Solrac333 07-20-2022 09:39 PM

All of these look great. Looks like Stratos has two left feet.

redfox 07-20-2022 09:57 PM

Wow, seriously surprised by all of the Masterverse females on display. Nice, can't wait to hear more from this line.

lordbest 07-21-2022 12:03 AM

I was not seriously expecting them to make God-Lyn, thrilled they are. I really wish they would bring She-Ra:PoP into the Masterverse range, though.
Sorceress looks fantastic, Shadow Weaver needs sleeves. Stratos and Man E Faces look great as well.

JerpJerp 07-21-2022 12:15 AM

So many cool new figures in there. Love the 4pk of He-man. I can't believe they did an ETERNIA!!! WOW! Origins are on fire!
I would love to get it and will regret not down the line. Maybe I could get it keep the Snake tower and sell the rest?? XD

EternianJerkian 07-21-2022 12:39 AM

YES! so much good Masterverse stuff but most importantly I can buy GOD-LYN for my partner! Can't wait. They even got the stars and stuff on her cloak. Looks ace!

What you on about? I dunno about Shadow Weaver (who looks pretty cool there anyways) but that Sorceress is accurate to Revelation

I had a feeling they were gonna go deep with Revelations when we got Spikor in wave 2, if I remember right he appeared very very briefly in the first ep and it wasn’t even the real Spikor, but I’m not complaining, I love this line.

They are doing She-Ra POP style, you can pre order her now

Aye, real Spikor turned up in episode 7 with other lackeys in front of Bat-Lyn. Then in episode 9 to fight Teela and Andra in the sewers. And those episodes came out after wave 2 of the figures had already been shown. lol

Sorry I meant Netflix She-Ra: PoP not original, I should have been more specific

Ahhh I couldn’t remember him appearing again, it’s already been a while since I watched it, but I do remember my fave Clawful showing up towards the end of the series, that’s a Masterverse figure I want

They probably will

So far Masterverse covers:
Revelation
New Eternia
She-Ra (original)
Sun-Man
Netflix CGI He-Man
New Adventures of He-Man (shown in the SDCC reveal)
And the 40th Anniversary figures

Already spreading itself a bit thin, especially for those of us who are only after specific series figures. lol

I thought after I replied maybe you meant the Netflix one, I hope they get into the 2002 He-Man cartoon, some of those character designs were great, let’s hope this line just keeps going hey, and maybe we will both get our wish

Aye, Clawful shows up in the same scenes as Spikor. :)

It seems like the ideal spot for it, a universal line of MOTU figures. I just hope the line doesn't run out of steam before we get to it. The reveals from today have made me a lot more confident it won't.

Definitely, so much promise in the Masterverse line, I hope people keep supporting it so it can deliver on it.

That’s probably why I can’t remember Spikor showing up again, was too busy fan boying over Clawful making an appearance

It's a god awful take on Sorceress. I don't care what modern media abomination spawned it. Terrible dress. Terrible face. And poor quality soft goods cape. Super7 did Sorceress better.

And sleeveless Shadow Weaver is arguably worse.

Masterverse is the most bizarre line ever. Perfectly accurate She-Ra figures and then pin headed Revelations designs mixed with some of the least popular versions of He-Man.

Meanwhile Origins gets a playset the size of a small room and vintage-accruate designs for virtually every character in like only two years of releases.

Jeez, you sound fun. Revelation Sorceress was superb and acted very well by Justice League's Wonder Woman Susan Eisenberg and the figure looks great. And I'd take soft goods capes over plastic rubbery shite any day (my main issue with many Batman/Superman McFarlane figures is those awful capes). This Sorceress figure has been on the wishlist of many Revelation fans going by the FB groups and figure polls so you can go cry in the corner some more while the rest of us happily purchase a figure we've been asking Mattel for. Thank you!

'modern media abomination'. Jeez, get over yourself, mate.

And since you love Origins so much, I take it you own that Sorceress? The one who looks like a teenager (extra creepy when stood next to Man-At-Arms) and they didn't bother to fix the length of her cloak/wings which were a big complaint many fans had about the original figure. Origins is very hit and miss. Sometimes they make improvements (like fixing Flying Fists He-Man, cos the vintage armour looked AWFUL) but then making some weird decisions. I have three Origins figures. I don't particularly like any of them.

You get personal really fast. You're a big reason I hate any time a MOTU thread pops up here (and I only post here because He-Man.org is filled with posters just like you). I don't like a figure, so you immediately light into me -- me, personally, instead of defending the figure or agreeing to disagree. And you do it all the time. You've hit me several times. You've hit others. I wish this family of forums would moderate effectively.

Of your 365 posts, I wouldn't be surprised if 300 of them contained some type of insult directed at someone else. And you're telling me to get mover myself? Nice.
