Oh, wow. Neca just does magic with these universal monsters.

The Phantom looks great though I'm on the fence about buying him right now.
As iconic as the Universal version is in my minds eye the Phantom will always be the stage version with the half mask hiding his disfigurements.
That said my mind could change, especially if the also do a accessory pack that contains his organ like the Diamond Select.

Give us an Elvira Ultimate already.

Weren't they supposed to release an Elvira without the signature?

Hopefully they'll show us a Hammer Frankenstein Monster this month.

I know it wouldn't happened hut I'd love an accessory pack with a Gerard Butler Phantom head!

They did, at the same time the signed version came out. But, it wasn't an Ultimate. They were the retro cloth figures. I believe the standard version is still up for order in several places.

We don't talk about that abomination.

The real fright is the prices.

I think I saw a guy making that same face in the Funko Pop aisle the other day... :D

Definitely interested in the Creature and Phantom... but will wait for the B&W versions.

We've officially seen every other version at this point!! My brother got the 8" one and while it looks fantastic it's gigantic. The wait continues..

Looking good! Hell I desperately want these universal monsters, but I like the JADA universal figures a little better. It's one or the other for me as a rule. Such a hard decision. Especially seeing the NECA phantom there. I really like that look. I like the half mask too. It's so hard collecting sometimes *sigh*

Yeah,the creature was shown at SDCC already but, the Phantom seals the deal as far as a second wave of GITD Remco homages happening.
Also I'll be shocked if no Hammer stuff gets shown but I think I said that last year too lol.

I'm starting to wonder if them having the Hammer license was miscommunication on our part. Maybe the source got their info wrong, thus inaccurately reporting it.

Well, what i think might've happened was Neca was included in that mass Hammer announcement 2 years ago. And maybe someone screwed up and they werent supposed to be mentioned in that announcement. The other companies in that announcement have since released their Hammer wares while Neca cleary hasn't had anything to show. They've said a few things on twitter but they actually never said officially that theyre making Hammer figures.
The last thing I recall was a mention that it was currently being sculpted, which was from a tweet over the summer. So we'll see i guess. .

I've been collecting along time and know when a company is ripping me off. Neca..90% of the time thier pricing is warranted and surprisingly low for what you get.

I wish this 31 nights of fright would reveal an Ultimate Army of Darkness Medieval Ash.
