This is beautiful. I want it and the updated He-Man. That said. Stupid timing. Coming off of Wun-dar and Grizzlor on Mattel Creations, with shipping and tax were almost $30 each. Then that $150 4-pack, plus shipping and tax, then Eternia $650 with shipping and tax…..now this.

Can’t get blood from a stone. I’m out. Crap timing Mondo. Real crap timing.

I'm going to snag it. Grabbed the Deluxe He-Man. I may opt for Mondo's payment plan option. But I gotta have this. It's the most incredible Battle Cat ever made.

I would rather get this than the Eternia set. Then I can put the armor on my cat! :)

They articulated the freaking toes on this thing. It's crazy. Pixel Dan made a vid in which he sat down with the team. The sculptor/designer said he loves cats. In order to figure out how he would articulate this he just watched his cat. Then stuck closely to the range of motion. Doing so actually helped BC's ability to hold He-Man. It's clearly a labor of love. I'm as excited for this as Galactus. And the Classified HISS. Almost :)

The video shows a concern i have. His head continuously falls down.

That is my only real concern. They do say this is the "last packaged prototype before production" and they mention they have some small things to tweak. With the incredible attention to detail on this piece I'm sure (hoping) that GLARING issue is one of those. Because if not it'll be horribly received. That issue changes this from something incredible to a total disaster. "BC can't even hold his head up? For $500? Fuck you Mondo. Fuck. You."

(I wish the joints weren't glossy freaking smooth green. But I can overlook that and may be able to help them out)

Agreed. And yes, the joints had my attention as well. That is a huge eyesore for me and I’m sure many. $500…this thing better be damn close to perfect.

I did ask my wife about this, keep in mind I just dipped into our savings for Eternia.

Usually she is on board with toys, this though….well… she told me to do something to myself that I’m not quite sure I can do.

$500+ for the Eternia playset, $500 for an amazing Battlecat, it's a GREAT time to be a MotU collector, my wallet's thankful I'm not one of you! Ha ha.

So I'm not familiar with the lore, why a young Cringer? I watched some of the cartoons growing up, don't ever remember seeing a young Cringer.

Dan tweeted that the final will have a ratchet joint at the neck, so hopefully that won't be an issue.

There was an episode where they talked about Adam first finding Cringer as a cub. The touching tale of a boy and his timid dragon tiger.

Definitely in, but will have to go with a payment plan and the interest that entails.

This is absolutely amazing, and it's a damn shame that I can't even consider picking one up.

At this stage I'm thinking Mondo is my only chance at getting good Manchines and Monstroids.

You'll probably see them through some obscure Mattel con-exclusive before you'll ever see them made by Mondo.
