So instead of doing a 78 Michael, they decide to go with this terrible abomination from one of the worst movies in the franchise nearly a year too late? Are they a special kind of stupid?

I'm sure this film has its fans...I'm not one of them. I mean, I don't recall this film being so good that we needed a slight retool of the same figure we got since the 2018 film. I guess NECA needs to exercise the license lest they lose it but I can't help thinking there are better Halloween films they could make figures from.

It should have been a two pack with Corey. Maybe included some bondage equipment as a bonus feature so Michael could be Corey's bitch.

If it included a couple Corey heads, masked and unmasked,it would have been neat. Kinda like the H2 having the Ben head.

Yeah, those accessories are quite lackluster for NECA.

However, as far as the 78 version goes, I think there's sort of licensing issue that prevents them from making one. I think? If that's not the case, then it's completely idiotic that they haven't done so, yes.

Especially given the fact that this is a $38 figure. The accessories are piss.

There shouldn't be any licensing issues any more as Shout! Factory now owns the first, 4th, and 5th films, not Anchor Bay, and both NECA and Shout! have worked together in the past.

I assume a '78 Michael will happen eventually, but they're selling people the variants first to sell the most figures they can.

They had (may still have) the rights to halloween 2 and gave us the retro version. Could have done an ultimate in her blue outfit from the beginning of the film when they take her to the hospital, maybe have interchangeable arms and bare legs that swap out at the knee, include a hospital gown, boom. Ultimate Halloween 2 Laurie that's 2 figs in 1.
