World War 3 3/4
 

I decided to have some fun with my 3 3/4" figures, by far my favorite action figure scale. These guys are all bound for display so I wanted to give them a proper send-off before they are entombed in a glass case never to be played with again....ENJOY!

Episode 1, part 1/8

It has been months since an interdimensional rip caused an unkown number of beings to be transported to a desolate desert world. Luthor, Metallo, Black Adam, and Deathstroke follow a lead which Luthor believes will help him control this new world.

Luthor: "There he is boys. My sources tell me he is known as Apocalypse. He fill fit right in with my plan!"

Luthor is interrupted by a mysterious caped figure.

...

Magneto: "Allow me to introduce myself. I am Magneto, master of magnetism. If you want to make any progress awakening this creature you will need some manpower and in case he doesn't want to play...

Magneto: ....you'll need some weapons."

After a long discussion, Magneto and Luthor come to an understanding. Luthor sends his top agent Deathstroke to Destro's facility.

Destro: "This is our top scientist Obadiah Stane better known as Iron Monger."

Stane: "I've been informed about your plan and I think we have just the thing to provide some muscle as well as some protection."

Stane: "We call it Project: Sentinel."

END of Episode 1

EPISODE 2

Magneto and Luthor return to the Apocalypse site and discover that the giant carcass is gone.

Luthor: "Where could it...who could have possibly moved...."
Jetpack roars.
Boba: "Maybe I can shed some light on the subject."

Boba: "The name's Fett. My associates and I have been scouting this area for weeks. I believe you have something that belongs to us."
Luthor: "What do you mean? You are the ones who took our property and you are going to return it to us!"
Boba: "Oh yeah, who's gonna make us?"

Luthor: "Listen Fett, you didn't think we'd be foolish enough to come to this place without bringing some protection did you?"

A coughing figure quickly gets between Luthor and Fett. He mumbles something to Luthor and the two sides come to an uneasy truce.
Grievous: "I think we can work something out."

Little do they know they are being watched.
Sue (thinking): "Reed was right. I have to tell the others..."

Episode 3

Unbeknowst to Luthor, his arch enemy Kal-El has also formed several alliances and has been keeping an eye on his activities.

Mr. Fantastic: "Sue has confirmed our suspicions. It's clear that we have little choice but to mobilize and take action."
Hawk: "You can rely on Snake Eyes for immediate support. Duke and I will round up our supplies and build an army. I have a feeling we'll need one."

Superman, Captain America, Cyclops, and Mr. Fantastic agree that the best way to utilize their troops is to mix and match some of the entities.

Power Girl: "The JSA will set up a base."
Nightwing: "The Dynamic Duo will do some recon work."

Mr. Fantastic: "The rest of us will break up into our new teams. Fantastic 4, squad 1!"
Wonder Woman: "Fantastic Four, squad 2!"
Black Lightning: "Outsiders!"
Wolverine: "X-Force!"

Cyborg: "Titans, go!"
Cyclops: "X-Men, unite!"
Superman: "Justice League, away!"
Captain America: "Avengers..........ASSEMBLE!!!"

End of episode.

Thanks guys, I stopped this thread when I saw that nobody was commenting, lol. I didn't want to clog up the website with my jibber-jabber. Now that I know better, expect more posts...stay tuned!
